HOW IT WORKS
While each coaching engagement is tailored to each leader’s individual needs and context, below is a generalized process outline to provide a sense of how executive coaching works.
PHASE ONE
Our Spectacular at Work coach gathers context and information on their coaching participant and organization from key stakeholders about current performance, role demands, and organizational structure and culture.
The coaching participant often completes a leadership assessment which facilitates the creation of a personal development plan.
PHASE TWO
Our coach and participant meet consistently during the course of the coaching engagement. We utilize various growth-based assignments between sessions to allow for the development and practice of identifiable new leadership habits.
We also have regular touchpoints with the coaching participant’s manager (when applicable) for input.
PHASE THREE
As the outlined engagement draws to a close, the coaching participant and coach re-assess the progress that has been made to date, refine future development goals, and create an updated, future-focused action plan based on learnings throughout the engagement.
