-
A way to prepare your highest potential Senior Leaders to be ready for the Executive Leadership Team and supported by the Board.
An intensive multi-month leadership development experience anchored on four full-day intensives.
Practical learning experiences delivered by experienced Executive Leaders.
Undiluted access to world-class peers, advisors, and experts.
It’s sleeves-up planning, preparation, and mentorship built on the collective wisdom and experience of people who intimately know what it takes to lead a successful company.
-
To feel confident that you’re preparing the next generation of executive leaders.
Most senior executives promoted into top roles find the transition more challenging than expected.
The development needed for executive roles is difficult to appreciate without a trusted advisor (or advisors) who know what's at stake and what it takes to succeed.
-
Eligible participants hold VP, SVP, and C-level titles.
Participants must be someone your company believes is a realistic candidate for an Executive Team role, including those recently promoted to the Executive Team and those considered Ready Now.
Participants need to be able to commit to all four scheduled sessions.
Participants must demonstrate a commitment to their professional executive development and the development of their cohort peers.
-
Cohorts are curated and intentionally kept small.
12-15 expected, with a maximum of 20 participants in each cohort.
The size is meant to allow for a diverse group (including functional responsibility, industry, background, and lived experience) while still retaining an intimacy that allows participants to really get to know one another.
Each participant will be expected to be actively engaged. No bystanding allowed.
-
There are four full-day sessions spread throughout 2025, with a 3-hour virtual kick-off meeting in November 2024 and two 2-hour Zoom-based group sessions in 2025. Additionally, participants are encouraged to check in with their fellow participants and facilitators between the group sessions.
-
The kickoff session in November will be for 2 hours to orient everyone to the program.
The four group sessions last a full day (9-4) and include an optional dinner after each program session.
-
The sessions will be held within the greater Chicagoland area.
-
With the exception of the virtual kickoff, the full day sessions will not be recorded.
We have found that this creates a space where leaders can be truly candid, share their experiences, and learn from each other with their guard down.
This is why the eligible participants are committed to prioritizing their development and these quarterly sessions.
-
Only the two learning sessions can be attended virtually. The four full-day sessions require in-person attendance.
If you are signed up and unforeseen circumstances arise, we will work with you to ensure you do not miss the important material.
-
Our speakers are experts in leadership, former and current Executive Leadership Team members, former and current Board Members of public and private companies, and faculty from top executive education programs.
We believe this combination of authority and access to this faculty is truly an exceptional lever in accelerating executives.
Our faculty provides a rare look through the lens of those who have been there before.

"Hearing each session from impressive speakers, all of whom ran major companies, share what it takes to get from A to B gave me an entirely new way to think about leadership development... By investing in this program, I deepened my understanding of what it takes to be a high performing executive and build a strong personal board of directors." – Andy Weitz, CMO at Aon
"The Leadership Collective is an invaluable program because [of] the experiential learning model... Rather than a traditional development course where you are presented with information, [the] access to a lineup of experts for irreplaceable one-on-one interaction means we can discuss and tackle the issues we're facing in real time… The holistic approach means participants get more than if they had only taken a leadership class or done an assessment. After just finishing the program, it has already made a big impact and broadened my view of what leadership is and how to contribute at a higher level." — Gregg Ereio, Vice President & Managing Director at McDonalds
"The Leadership Collective... has already proven valuable to me in my career. The interactions, discussion, and advice I received was not only timely... but invaluable as I navigate my career in the future... The opportunities to build the connections I now have with the individuals I met through this program are truly irreplaceable. I feel so much more prepared to face the challenges that executives are asked to resolve." — Adam Godderz, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary at Kansas City Southern Railroad
"The Leadership Collective was one of the best investments I've ever made in my development as a leader. The collection of speakers and the knowledge shared throughout the program has allowed me to refine my own leadership approach for the better... I've seen profound development for myself and my team as a result." – Brian Barthelt, Managing Director at The Marketing Store
"What is so different and makes the Leadership Collective experience stand out for me is the opportunity to join a group of people in the same general place on their career journey. This is the secret sauce because it makes the learning together more impactful... All egos are checked at the door. No one’s trying to prove anything... This is powerful because we can show up as who we are as individuals, which creates the space for rich open and honest dialogue. It makes this an environment that just can’t be replicated.” – Manika Turnbull, CHRO at HCSC Blue Cross Blue Shield
"As a leader, I know that I am ready for the next steps in my career... Being in a program that encourages more self-reflection has been very powerful. The 360 really helped me see some gaps and blind spots. I was definitely ready for the feedback and to get working on the next steps. I've been able to do detailed action planning that helps me focus on my goals. This is just what I needed." – Brian Stahulak, Chief Nursing Officer at Lurie Children’s Hospital
